Albuquerque, NM – Aug 16, 2021: Xynergy®, a digital services pioneer, launched the new website for the New Mexico 'Aging and Long-Term Services Department' (ALTSD). ALTSD is a leader in developing programs and building partnerships that support lifelong independence and healthy aging.

Interestingly, New Mexico's percentage of the population over sixty-five will be the fourth largest in the nation by 2030. Since establishing ALTSD, constituents, providers, state agencies, tribal representatives, and legislators have come together to support older adults, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers.

The new ALTSD website, built on the Expression Engine platform, will offer a modern browsing experience for visitors. The new site can handle a higher traffic volume while ensuring a high level of data safety, content publishing flexibility, and easier web management for administrators and developers. The new site incorporates extensive user experience research, an improved information architecture, language translations, and advanced accessibility features. A website with better accessibility is essential to accommodate people with vision and mobility impairments.

Xynergy® also rebranded ALTSD's visual identity to reflect the core thought that aging could be a satisfying process filled with success.

ALTSD Director of IT, Tim Struck said, "We believe in providing an integrated system enabling healthcare, safety, food, employment, and other much-needed support for older members of our community. Our team is supremely motivated with the opportunity to fill the lives of older members of our community with joy and meaning. We are happy that the team from Xynergy® has infused new ideas into our digital strategy and implemented a website that will serve the interest of our constituents well."

Arijit Banerjee, CEO of Xynergy®, said, "We are thankful for the opportunity to build the new website for ALTSD, a purposeful organization helping older people find joy and fulfillment in life. With a pioneering legacy going back more than twenty-five years, the team at Xynergy® loves bringing to life websites and digital solutions that touch the community. We are confident that the new site will enable better SEO, web management, and digital-led communications for ALTSD."

It is worth mentioning that ALTSD focuses on creating an integrated system of services for constituents to address their concerns on time, prevent duplication of services, and maximize economic efficiency.
